Rehabilitation Services
St. Mary's offers extensive
outpatient rehabilitation services including physical, occupational
and speech therapy. These services include physical exercise,
strengthening activities and hands on treatment by a licensed
therapist in order to return the patient to their maximum level of
functioning following surgery, injury or a long
hospitalization.
The Occupational Therapy program features a certified hand
therapist who specializes in rehabilitation of the shoulder, elbow
and hands. This includes, but is not limited to arthritis,
tendonitis, fractures, post-surgical repairs, burns, carpal tunnel
syndrome, overuse syndromes and work injuries. Every
treatment plan is customized to the specific patient diagnosis.
