Visiting Restrictions
To provide for patient privacy, reduce the risk of infection,
and prevent visitors from interfering with medical activities, no
more than two visitors are permitted to any one patient at a
time.
People who have a respiratory infection (fever, coughing,
diarrhea, etc.) or communicable illness are NOT allowed to visit in
any area of the hospital.No more than two visitors are allowed at
one time unless an exception is made by the patient's doctor or by
the unit's nurse manager/supervisor.
- No one is permitted to stay overnight unless the patient's
condition warrants it, and it is approved by the nurse manager,
charge nurse, or the administrator supervisor in the manager's
absence.
- Only two (2) visitors per patient, at one time.
- Note: "Quiet Time" is a set of designated hours during which
doctors, staff and visitors are asked to minimize all noise and
disruptions so that patients might rest. Quiet Time takes place
every day in every unit between the hours of 1:00 p.m.and 3:00
p.m.
- Children under the age of 14 are not permitted in ICU, Cardiac
Pavilion, or the Open Heart Recovery Room.Children will only be
permitted on the other units when accompanied by an adult.
Exceptions to the visiting hours are made by Administration for
specific holidays.
