State Certified Stroke Center
St. Mary’s General Hospital has been recognized for its excellent
care of patients with symptoms of a stroke. High-tech teleneurology and
neurosurgery capabilities save lives – and
quality of life for these patients.
State Designated Heart Center & STEMI Program
We provide state-of-the-art Cardiovascular Services in the emergency room
and closely work with our team of hospital Cardiologists, Interventional
Cardiologists, and Cardiac Surgeons to provide treatment for all types
of cardiac emergencies including open-heart surgery, catheterizations,
ablations, and electrophysiology.
Fast Track ER Unit
For minor emergencies, the Fast Track Unit provides expert care that is
quick and convenient.
Senior Care Unit
This separate area of the ER is dedicated to geriatric care for patients
60 years and older. Seniors are immediately integrated into the multi-disciplinary
Senior Care Program which provides specialized care during every stage
of the healing process from the Hospital, during discharge, and then back
in the community with free health screenings and education.
Ambulance Service to Speed the Process
St. Mary’s General has a fleet of BLS ambulances. The ambulance squad
members are trained to begin emergency treatment the moment they pick
you up and transition you directly to the ER suite for maximum safety.
