Every year, the American Heart Association recognizes hospitals that demonstrate commitment to following treatment guidelines. This is part of ensuring that all Americans have access to high-quality, safe, evidence-based care – care that saves lives and improves patient outcomes. St. Mary's General Hospital is proud to be recognized with the STEMI: Silver Plus, and Target: Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll™. These ranks are included in US News & World Report Magazine.
Hospitals with Silver Plus Receiving are recognized for 75% or higher achievement of First Door-to-Device time of 120 minutes or less for transferred STEMI patients for one consecutive calendar year.
Target: Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll™ is a national honor roll program for hospitals participating in Get With the Guidelines® (HF, Stroke) to reinforce evidence-based guidelines with hospitals that qualify for a Silver level or higher achievement award in the related Get with the Guidelines module.
